The Story of Patricia PodcastIntroducing the Story of Patricia - Leadership from unusual places

The team behind Sapience Financial & and our specialist brand Unusual Risks Insured have always sought to be the change they want to see in life and business today.

  • Drew Browne Director of Sapience Financial interviewed Ms Patricia Kennedy OAM about her experiences in the 1980s and 1990s when HIV and AIDS first arrived in Australia.
An engaging and challenging, sometimes confronting conversation, this interview provides first-hand accounts about the missing generation from the 1990s that saw 1000 people a year die of AIDS.

This series seeks to document with insight the humanity and the history of the lives lost in Australia just before the advent of mass access to the internet and its ability to record life (and death) as it really happened.

This is the history of many Australian young people too quickly forgotten.

The Story of Patricia Kennedy OAM

A Grandmother's Fight to do What's Right - Battling HIV Stigma in Australia

  • A shocking and yet compelling interview for people who want to know the truth about a dark time in Australia's brief history, so we can learn how not to repeat the mistakes of the past on our young people today.
Listen and be challenged to open your mind.  Be inspired by leadership from unusual places. Drew Browne - Founder Sapience Financial & Unusual Risks Insured
